Log Home Kitchen Reno

This amazing log built home with customized open style luxury features, was too rustic for the homeowner. With granite, oak, pine and travertine features, built by the previous owner, it just wasn’t their style and they wanted to lighten it up and give it a fresh look.

Our Renovation team met up with the clients and got together a list of must haves. Painted cabinets, new countertops and backsplash, new fixtures and hardware and a few structural changes made the list. We took measurements of the space and took it back to the office.

We began with a 3D rendering so the client could have a vision of what we were proposing for the space.

The proposal was to drop the counter-top on the island to make one large prep space and also expand storage in the island. We also wanted to lighten up the space but still keep the Farmhouse feel so we added in shiplap over the existing logs.

To the side there was a tiny space that the client was using as a coffee bar. We kept the concept but enhanced the space with floating shelves and a built in piece that felt more custom.

Once approved, the client came in to make final selections for the project.

Below are some pictures of the project during the process.

Floors are covered and the space is prepped.
Hardware was removed before the cabinet sanding began.
Sanding down the cabinets
New custom island is installed!
Cabinet painting! We started with one color on the island but the color match process didn’t work out so we re-selected and the new blue was perfect!
Shiplap on the pantry with new custom doors. Wait until you see the hardware.
Finishing Touches
Almost ready!

With all the beautiful details in this kitchen it’s hard to pick a favorite, but it turned out amazing and our client was happy.
